Hi, my name is Keva Turner, I'm running to be your Representative for the 14th Assembly District which includes parts of West Allis and Wauwatosa.

 

I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised on the north side of Milwaukee. As a young girl, I watched my father and mother struggle to provide for their six children and later three grandchildren. I was also exposed to things in our community that I hope future generations can avoid. High crime rates and teen parenthood were not uncommon. As your representative, these are things I will work to change in our community!

 

 

As a single mother in our community, I know how hard it can be for many to provide for their kids, find adequate and reliable public education, and to walk the streets and feel safe. I am running to help our community by ensuring kids and parents have choices in public education, by making sure our streets are safe, and by reducing taxes for families and small businesses. I want to be an advocate for you in Madison.

 

 

As an Administrative Assistant at a private special needs school in West Allis, and as a single black mother, I've been granted a unique perspective. Let me use my knowledge and experience to help bring positive change to our community. With your support, I can win and help put common-sense policies in place that will improve our community and the State of Wisconsin. It all starts with you and your vote!
